Reinforced Graphite Gaskets
The reinforced graphite gaskets are made with a very tiny coating of chloride-free glue is used to adhere the graphite sheet to the insertion. This reinforcement produces a robust gasket that is manageable and straightforward to convert into gaskets.
Reinforced graphite gaskets are fabricated from a semi-rigid graphite laminated material manufactured from high-purity exfoliated graphite reinforced with Nickel or Stainless foil or tanged stainless steel. Reinforced graphite gaskets are suitable for sealing against steam and most other media with the exception of strongly oxidizing reagents. It is recommended for use at 450C and for pressures up to 2900psi.
