HOW TO USE PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE
Step 1 – Clean the Threads
Remove dust, oil, grease, old sealant, and contaminants from the threaded surface.
Step 2 – Dry the Thread Surface
Ensure threads are completely dry before tape application.
Step 3 – Wrap the Tape Correctly
Wrap the tape in the same direction as the thread rotation to prevent loosening during assembly.
Recommended:
- Apply 2–4 layers depending on thread size.
Step 4 – Trim and Press
Cut the tape and press the loose end firmly onto the threads.
Step 5 – Assemble the Connection
Tighten the connection using appropriate torque.
