What is Ceramic Fibre Materials?

Ceramic fibre products are often spun and combined with glass or wire reinforcing media in order to improve tensile strength and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. They provide a higher temperature rating, lower thermal conductivity and a greater resistance to steam than glass fibre counterparts. This material is suitable for use in applications up to +1260°C, though the glass or wire reinforcements are rated lower.
