Ceramic filled PTFE rods are made of a distinctive, mechanically stressed Ceramic filled PTFE compound with elastic behaviour and properties.
It has outstanding tribological friction and wear characteristics compared to the glass filled PTFE, with reduced permeation producing less abrasive wear.
The ceramic filled PTFE has low heat conductivity and chemical inertia of the alloyed metal.
