Aramid Fiber Gland Packing is a high-strength compression sealing material manufactured from aramid fibers (para-aramid synthetic fibers) braided into dense and durable packing structures. Aramid fibers are recognized for their exceptional mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and durability under demanding operating conditions.
To enhance sealing performance, Aramid Fiber Gland Packing is often impregnated with PTFE dispersion, lubricants, graphite, or special blocking agents to reduce friction and improve chemical compatibility.
This type of packing is particularly suitable for handling abrasive media, slurry, high-pressure systems, and industrial rotating equipment, where conventional packing materials may experience rapid wear.
